I am going abroad spring semester and need someone to rent out my one bed room apartment. This apartment is located at 10th & College apartments which are one of the nicest apartments on campus. The apartment comes with hard wood floors and a very nice kitchen and living room. It has A/C and a W/D. It is right on the courtyard which has a beautiful fountain. The apartment complex is mostly college students but also has graduate students and some professors. It is a great environment to meet friends if you are new to the Bloomington community. It is quiet when you need to study and social when you want to go out. It comes with a free gym membership (the gym is next door) and a brand new in ground pool which was just opened this year. There is also a brand new recreation room with flat screen TVs and is a great place to hang out. 10th and College is its own little community which also has a clothing boutique, restaurant and hair salon which are amongst the best in Bloomington. Being a 10th and college resident you will receive 10% off any of these places. I absolutely LOVE this place and have already signed a lease for a 3BR apartment for next year.
Since this apartment is one of the nicest it is a little pricy but I can promise you it is COMPLETELY worth it. The rent is $1,000/ mo but I am willing to negotiate. All of the utilities are included except electricity and I pay about $30/ mo for electricity. I have a bunch of incredibly nice furniture and would be happy to leave it for your use.
It is a 10 min walk to campus and if you dont want to do that there is a bus that comes to the front door. It is located right in the heart of downtown and there are tons of great restaurants, bars and shopping out your front door. The building is 100% secure and you have to have a card to scan in and out. There is also an intercom system if you want to let in friends. Please email me if you are interested. Also, I will not be staying there next year so if you want you can extend the lease to next year. As of Decemeber there will still be 9 months on the lease.
