I've been accepted to study abroad in Spain next semester and need to sublet. The sublet starts w/ rent on the 1st of January- May. I could also sublet January-August for the summer, am willing to work out any one that fits either of those.
Rent is $360/month plus utilities (which run about $50/month) VERY cheap considering average rent for any living in Bloomington is 500 and this house is great. I am going abroad spring semester and need someone to rent out my one bed room apartment. This apartment is located at 10th & College apartments which are one of the nicest apartments on campus. The apartment comes with hard wood floors and a very nice kitchen and living room. It has A/C and a W/D. It is right on the courtyard which has a beautiful fountain. The apartment complex is mostly college students but also has graduate students and some professors. It is a great environment to meet friends if you are new to the Bloomington community. It is quiet when you need to study and social when you want to go out. It comes with a free gym membership (the gym is next door) and a brand new in ground pool which was just opened this year. There is also a brand new recreation room with flat screen TVs and is a great place to hang out. 10th and College is its own little community which also has a clothing boutique, restaurant and hair salon which are amongst the best in Bloomington. Being a 10th and college resident you will receive 10% off any of these places. I absolutely LOVE this place and have already signed a lease for a 3BR apartment for next year.

Since this apartment is one of the nicest it is a little pricy but I can promise you it is COMPLETELY worth it. The rent is $1,000/ mo but I am willing to negotiate. All of the utilities are included except electricity and I pay about $30/ mo for electricity. I have a bunch of incredibly nice furniture and would be happy to leave it for your use.

It is a 10 min walk to campus and if you dont want to do that there is a bus that comes to the front door. It is located right in the heart of downtown and there are tons of great restaurants, bars and shopping out your front door. The building is 100% secure and you have to have a card to scan in and out. There is also an intercom system if you want to let in friends. Please email me if you are interested. I've absolutely loved living here. It's a great complex with a good vibe to it. It's located about two miles east of the main (Wells) library on the IU campus. The majority of the MP residents are graduate students with a mix of families and undergraduates mixed in for good measure. On the complex is a small gym, two laundry centers with new equipment, and a city bus stop (3, 6, and 8 route all run right by here!). Although the complex is a little far from campus as a student, the bus does come by, and it's only about a ten to fifteen minute bike-ride to campus depending on how fit you are.

I'm graduating this December, and potentially, maybe, hopefully will have found a job elsewhere.. And, with that said, I really can't afford to pay for a place I no longer reside. Rent is $297 per month, plus electricity and TV/internet (which for cable is only about 20 bucks per person). Our rent is $925/month with discounts for IU faculty/staff/grad students - and I think that the deposit is 1/2 off if you are a IU Faculty/staff/grad as well. Cats and dogs are ok here :) You will have to sign a new lease with the complex - either a sublet (taking over our current one) or a brand new one (which is a 12 month lease as I understand it).

Trash is included here - there are dumpsters and recycling pick up. As for electric - we are running around 60-80/month but we have a lot of electronics running and enjoy a cool apartment in the summer. The complex has a pool and hottub (pool is closed for the season, but the hot tub is still open). It's literally one block from Bryan Park, where there is also a "Park and Ride" where you can catch a bus into campus - but I can bike to campus in a little over 5 minutes.

The apartment is 2 BR 1 1/2 BA - with a garden tub - which is awesome!! In case you haven't checked, the link is:"http://www.deerparkmgmt.com/Bfloorplans.shtml#" and the floor plan is "Poplar B". The kitchen is awesome with an island and tall ceilings. There is also a bay window that is super nice in the "dining room" area. Living room is nice space - with a wood fireplace.

It's super private living - nice back porch where you can just sit and relax. The neighbors are awesome - young professionals, grad students, professors, and other. Everyone seems super nice and we haven't had any trouble with noise or the like - even when we've had guests over.

I have been in the apartment 2 years now and it has been great but I am finishing school and really need to leave as soon as I can.
New carpet was put in when I moved in and it is still in new condition.
Washer and Dryer can be added in the apartment for an extra charge each month. It is really worth it to do this.

Price is $390 monthly plus Internet and cable (usually runs $28.77). All utilities are included! It is a four bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. You will share the bathroom with two other girls.

All other roommates are female, so a female roommate would be preferred.

The apartment is located at 1200 N. Madison St. and is within walking distance of the 6 bus route and is within a longer walking distance to the stadium. There is a Marsh very close for grocery shopping. The neighborhood is very nice and friendly. There is private parking in front of the house also.

The bedroom is large and could easily fit a queen sized bed. The house has all newly refinished hardwood floors and includes laundry, dishwasher and lots of space.

Animals are acceptable (you have to pay an extra $10 a month) as long as the roommates are okay with it.

I lived there all last year and love it. I am leaving only because I am graduating early.

-I like to have fun! I haven't had a party or anything here, I'm not sure if I'd want any, but I do like to have people over. So if you are bothered by drinking or fun, need not apply. :)
