This is the first edition of this book, this one being a softcover, titled: "Conceptual Issues in Evolutionary Biology" edited by Elliott Sober and published in 1984, when I was coming out of my Masters Degree program. It is a collection of articles written by top evolutionary biologists including: Ernst May, Stephen Jay Gould, John Maynard Smith, Elliot Sober, Mary Williams and others. Not light bedtime reading per se but good reading.

Book is in excellent conditions. Some crimps/scuffs on the covers but the pages are all perfect. The book is 10" x 7" x just under 2" thick - 725 pages.
