This is a publication from 1988 by the Petrified Forest Museum Association written by Robert A. Long and Rose Houk, illustrated by Doug Henderson. It is about the world of dinosaurs that roamed in North America in what is now the Petrified Forest in Arizona durng the Triassic Period, about 225 million years ago. The illustrations are wondrous. There is a map of the Petrified Forest, reconstruction of what Arizona looked like in the Triassic, descriptions and discussion of the species that lived then and the illustrations are "art".. Remarkable reading and viewing!

I have been the only owner and have taken great care of this book. Myself I love searching for fossils, have found many, and hope to find many more. Hopefully this will get someone going on the searching and the joy of finding!
