I purchased this hardcopy book, "Snakes of Eastern North America" in 1989 as a reference book while working as a Wildlife Ecologist on projects in the eastern U.S. Written by two of the top biologist in the United States at the time: Carl Ernst from George Mason University and Roger Barbour from the University of Kentucky. As projects played out, I did not need to reference it so it sat in my reference books in my office. Never been used so it is Like New condition. Size is 11" x 9" x 1" thick, hardcover, 282 pages and several pages of color photographs to show the snakes in their natural view.
