Selling a 1937 Evinrude Model 4212, made in Milwaukee. This is an early 2 HP single-cylinder outboard with tons of patina and great bones for a display, restoration, or antique tin boat project.
What I know:
• Original model tag intact and good condition (Model 4212, Serial 01416)
• Turns freely and feels like good compression when turning by hand
• Shifter and throttle controls move
• Prop, gearcase, carb, and tank are all present
• Cool early cast parts and original lines
• Tank has surface rust but solid
• Has NOT been tested, selling as-is
• Great for collectors, restorers, or display
These early Evinrudes are getting harder to find in complete form. Perfect shop art, wall-hanger, man-cave display, or restoration project.
