Will only accept cash and will do transaction in person at Bloomington Walmart, west side near tire center. These are my terms. Tired of all the attempted scams.
Edited- just found a container of rolled common denominations, weighing 20 pounds. Just looked at the top, saw Mexico, Great Britain, and a roll of Japanese sen. I think many of the Great Britain, if not all, are circulating coins, decimal, 1-5p. Some of the Mexico seemed in new pesos, saw a couple rolls of 5 new pesos. I didnt dig through it, and didn’t pay much attention.
So 62 pounds total, with the boxes, 2x2, etc. I think the 52 pounds of coins is a safe estimate.
The bay’s prices have a wide spread in prices per pound. Most run around $12-20. Generally, the estimate per pound is 80-100 coins. So this may have close to 3000 coins.
Average circulated, from culls to uncirculated. Slicks, holes, cuts, dirty through bright shiny coins, and everything in between.
Vast majority will be post wwii. I saw a few pre wwii, and a couple from late 19th century. The older they are, most likely the lower condition they will be.
There will be tons of duplicates. Lots from Mexico. Mostly common coins, common denominations. If you have ever bought pounds from eBay, you will understand. These are my duplicates. There should be a good variety though, in countries, dates, denominations. Surely it will provide hours of fun.
This would be great for a starter world collection, just hoarding, or flea market resale.
I used a 2004 and a 2016 Krause, and a few online sites, for attribution and values. Some km numbers may have been revised, values are out of date. Most will value at less than a buck, probably 98%, but probably a few over that. I just threw all my duplicates into boxes.
Will consider serious offers, low balls ignored. Obvious scams ignored.
