This is a handmade heavy glass oil lamp/vase. It holds lamp oil for burning, like a candle. Needs a wick in a circular glass tab atop the vase. Handmade by Kenneth Marine (retired years ago), an artisan from Missouri. I have traded with him often and most are pretty close if not one-of-a-kind, especially when he is experimenting and developing new work. I have never used it - just displayed it. Probably why I lost the wick that goes in the top - doah! The glass has, as you can see in the images, a beautiful iridescence. I will work with you to find a wick holder to go in the top. The lamp is just under 8" tall and 4.5" wide. I have been the only owner (again, non-user) of the lamp. The pictures show a side view, the top where the wick goes in and the bottom with Kenneth Marine's signature.
Price is $50. Cash or credit card - either is fine. Come see and purchase at my studio on the south side of Bloomington. Also browse all the many beautiful pieces I have traded with other artisans for during the years I have been doing art shows. Most all from artist trades with my photography.
