Has a few chips in the paint but the body is straight and shows decently well. Has underneath rust as 95% of all Excursions do, but it runs great, can pull a small house, and is my reliable camping rig/ long-haul road tripper. I’ve driven 25,000 miles in it since purchasing it in June 2020 (more than a few trips to National Parks out west, annual GSMNP camping trips with friends, and quarterly family excursions to PCB in Florida). It is a beast, but it is not perfect. Here are the things that I am aware of which don’t work as intended:
• Fuel gauge inoperable – I use trip odometer to know when to fill it up. This is new and occurred on my last trip to FL.
• Compass/temperature cluster near rearview mirror is inoperable – never worked since I have owned it.
• Rear window wiper works, but it is loud and slow.
• Passenger seat power control (heats as it should, but it no longer moves seat forwards and back). Not sure when this first occurred.
• Check engine light is on intermittently – per Carmichael Truck & Auto this is an active code P0299 related to VG Turbo Charger “Underboost”. I would note that I have never had any problems with the acceleration in this beast.
Reason I am selling is because I am currently using this vehicle far too infrequently on family road trips or camping trips to justify keeping it any longer. I wish to rehome it to a good home where someone can appreciate the heck out of it, as I have. Asking $11,500. Clean Indiana title in hand.
