Selling my 2017 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring with premium package (highest trim CX5 in 2017). Several features even most 2025 CX5s don't have including front and rear heated seats, power front driver and passenger seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, emergency braking assist, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert, lane keeping assist, heads up display, power tailgate and more.
2nd owner, clean title, minor front accident (bumper broken) last January fixed through insurance. It was my daily commuter (165 miles round trip) from Massachusetts to New Hampshire. I moved back to Indiana in Fall 2025 and I drive a lot less now.
In my ownership, oil changes every 5000 miles either at Mazda dealership or my trusted mechanic here in Bloomington with Mobil 1 oil and filter. The car runs and drives excellently. Rear brakes and rotors were replaced last year, transmission was serviced (fluid drain and fill, not flush) this year (no issues at all, just wanted to do routine maintenance). Tires are high quality Continental Crosscontact LX25 (excellent in all weather and specially rated for winter).
I love these CX5s so much that this is my 3rd one and my wife has an identical one to mine. They look and drive so much better than the equivalent CRV and RAV4 and they are just as reliable if not more (no CVT like Honda). My last CX5 had 224,000 miles when I sold it and it was in excellent shape. Do some research on the Mazda 2.5 liter skyactiv engine...many go up to 300k miles easily.
The 'cons' with this car are there is some wear on the driver's seat (it's not bad) and there is a keyless entry malfunction error message that comes when you start the car. Mazda said it needs a second key programmed for the error to go away. The one key it has functions perfectly.
I owe some money on it so we will meet at the IU Credit Union to finalize payment. You pay, you get the car, keys and bill of sale. I pay off the car, and the title comes in the mail in 2 days. I'm a faculty at IU so I'm not running away. Haha. Priced below KBB value
