I recently discovered that I had inadvertently purchased a coffee maker I already owned. I used my coffee maker for trips where I had to stay in a hotel/motel. Never did like the coffee they provided. The coffee maker has never been removed from the manufactures packaging. I did open it to confirm what was in the box. It does make really good coffee, much better then the coffee found in most hotels./motels. Of course the advantage of having your own coffee maker is you can make as many cups as you like, not just 1 or 2 as found in the typical hotel room
