This is a Leclerc Tissart tapestry loom. The loom is 69" tall, 531/2" wide and 251/2"deep at the base. The loom has a 45" weaving width.
This vertical loom has two harnesses and is used to make tapestry, illustrated weaving and rugs. The two harnesses are counter balanced and slide horizontally.
The beater spreads the warp evenly and slides up and down to beat the warp.
This loom has two solid wood beams controlled by hand to regulate tension of the warp.
The loom comes with an 8 dent reed, and instructions for warping the loom.
