condition: good
make / manufacturer: Allis Chalmers Simplicity
model name / number: 7016H Hydrostatic
Purchased this from my late uncle's estate, it had sat so we took it to a shop outside Spencer and he rebuilt the starter, added the new coil and tuned up the engine (and he re-sealed the oil pan while he had the engine out), repaired the wiring correctly, replaced the muffler, serviced the deck, and painted misc pieces to inhibit corrosion (over $450 bill). He said it appears this unit has overall very low total hours. I got it back from him recently running well and was using it around my property but then it started surging and dieing on me from time to time. I've got it narrowed down to a governor spring that came off but I'm tired of spending time and money on it and I need the storage space. Stored inside. Includes a trailer he had it on, newer wood top treated with Thomson water seal and I just repacked the bearings on it, ready to go!

Info I've collected on it:

This is a mid-sized hydro model that wasn't as common as the smaller 7014 shuttle shift or the larger hydro lawn tractors.

Original engine (not super common, most have been re-powered) is a late '77 Briggs and Stratton model with large capacity oil pan (fresh seal) and upgraded electronic ignition coil conversion ($120 parts and $75 labor). Starts easily! Old points system left intact and old points coil included if future owner wishes to convert back for any reason. This is the 'later' engine for this model tractor that was rated at the full 16 HP.

48" mower deck, recently replaced spindle and service on deck, also have an identical spare deck that will be included. It has the optional add on electric linear-actuated lift for deck height and accesory adjustment, means no fighting levers to raise a heavy deck or implement. Also has rear hitch for use with commonly available rear implements like tiller, blades, etc. Has auxiliary power PTO pulley for power-driven rear as well as front implements. Power lift can be used with necessary pivot rods to allow lifting of front and rear implements. Both decks have the adjustable Simplicity striping kits.

Fluid-filled rear ag tread traction tires do awesome in mud or on turf, front traction tires add to overall appearance and improve functionality on hills. Added a new seat cover, new fuel filter and fuel lines, and I only run ethanol-free gas. Headlights work.

Includes:
Extra 48" Simplicity mower deck and spindles and pulleys (value of $350). Will fit other Simplicity/AgCo/etc. models

Price also includes a heavy ~48" plow with reversible/replaceable aluminum cutting edge and heavy steel subframe that can be used on dirt, gravel, snow, etc. (value of $250) that my uncle had with it. Ive never had it on but looks pretty easily adaptable to anything you can fit it on--garden tractors or ATVs and side by sides UTVs.

Similar to Cub, Sears, JD or Bolens, other Allis Chalmers Simplicity/AgCo/etc. models. Easy to work on and still lots of NOS and take off parts available, will likely be around for another 40 years!

$1150 for all or will consider interesting trades for ?? Email and ask!
