About Our Family
We are a dynamic and lively family of five with three young boys (ages 6, 4, and 1.5) seeking a proactive and organized House Manager to support our busy household. With one parent traveling frequently for work and the other managing the day-to-day at home, we need someone who can take ownership of the logistics and systems that keep our home running smoothly. We’re looking for a partner who can handle the details and fit in seamlessly with our routine, allowing us to focus on quality time with our children and enjoying family life.
Our family thrives in an organized and functional home environment, and we appreciate a collaborative approach to managing tasks. The ideal candidate will have a positive, flexible attitude and an ability to adapt to our family's needs, whether it’s meal prep, helping with laundry, or stepping in for light backup childcare when necessary. While we have a weekly cleaner, we need someone who can take charge of household organization, errands, vendor management, and meal preparation.
We value clear communication and mutual respect, and we’re excited to find someone who can bring fresh ideas and systems to make our home even more efficient. If you are an experienced, proactive problem-solver who enjoys creating structure in a busy household, we’d love to meet you and explore how we can work together to support our family’s needs.
Who You Are / What We’re Looking For
Proactive & Autonomous: You are a self-starter who takes initiative and owns the flow of the household. You anticipate needs and identify tasks before they arise, working independently to keep things running smoothly without requiring constant direction.
Organized & Systematic: You thrive in creating and maintaining organized systems around the home, whether it’s keeping track of household supplies, managing seasonal swaps, or ensuring that everything has its place. You are committed to keeping systems in place and adjusting as needed for efficiency.
Collaborative & Supportive: You work seamlessly with the family, bringing a positive attitude and a collaborative approach to your responsibilities. While you take charge of household management, you are also flexible and ready to jump in wherever the family needs extra support, from childcare to assisting with event prep.
Detail-Oriented & Observant: You notice the little things that make a big difference—whether it’s managing the pantry inventory, maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas, or prepping for family events. You take pride in handling the details that make the home feel organized and functional.
Flexible & Adaptable: You’re comfortable with a dynamic, ever-changing household. You can pivot between tasks with ease, adjusting your focus as schedules shift and priorities change. Whether it’s coordinating with service providers, managing the family’s schedule, or helping with child-related tasks, you handle it all with grace.
Reliable & Experienced: You bring a strong work ethic, reliability, and experience in household management. You are the steady presence the family needs, ensuring the home runs smoothly so the parents can focus on family life and their professional commitments.
Positive & Personable: While maintaining professional boundaries, you bring a friendly, positive attitude to your work. You understand the balance between maintaining systems and being approachable, creating a warm and functional environment for the family.
