We are seeking a motivated and EXPERIENCED detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring smooth, seamless, and professional-looking walls and ceilings. Your expertise will help bring construction projects to completion with precision and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to residential remodels, contributing to spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Responsibilities
Finish drywall surfaces by sanding, taping, and applying joint compound to achieve a flawless finish.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine finishing requirements.
Install drywall panels, metal studs, and related framing components accurately on-site.
Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and plastering techniques to enhance the appearance of walls and ceilings.
Perform fixture installation, door hanging, and other trim carpentry tasks as needed for project completion.
Conduct quality inspections of finished surfaces, ensuring adherence to safety standards and client specifications.
Collaborate with carpenters, painters, plumbers, masons, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements
Proven experience in drywall finishing within a construction site environment.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction plans.
Familiarity with plastering, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and water damage restoration is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with metal stud framing, masonry work, remodeling projects, and restoration industry practices.
Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
