2017 Zero FXS Made in USA electric supermoto motorcycle, quiet operation, TORQUE! American made!

Pure electric (0% emissions during operation!!) lightweight supermotard/dual sport motorcycle, MADE IN USA! Whisper quiet belt drive makes talking with a passenger or riding buddies extremely enjoyable, as well as enabling you to listen to nature or for traffic--a very unique riding experience! Very low 5200 miles (will go up as I continue to enjoy it any chance I get!).

This FXS is the supermoto version, and this particular bike is the much more sought after "modular" model capable of holding two removable Lithium-Ion batteries, and can be upgraded to hold any new technology battery for the foreseeable future! It can be ridden with one battery (entire bike weighs only 245 lbs in that configuration, making it easy to handle and flick around and it will go 25-50 miles), or with both batteries (second battery adds additional ~38 lbs.) if you require more range. I recently purchased a brand new Zero battery ($2400 from Tom Wood Powersports in Indy, Zero batteries have a 5 year/100k mile warranty) to add more range but you can buy used batteries on eBay for ~$800-1200 if you want to hot swap them.

It has never seen rain as I've become a fair weather rider in my old age, and it's always been stored inside a climate controlled garage and space, even when ridden to work. Super clean.

It's not easy to find these in the midwest as they're made in California and more popular out there or in larger cities. I drove to Texas to get this one from a dealer.

Better than/comparable to a 450 or KTM 500 (my other ride is a '23 KTM 500EXC-F for woods and dessert riding). The Zero has over 46 silent horsepower and 78 ft-lbs of torque--very powerful, with no gears, or clutch, just twist the throttle. This makes it ideal for beginners (you can tailor the throttle response with 3 or more different mappings, and even dial in specifics like braking regen force from the Zero Bluetooth app for the bike!).

Bike will do the quarter mile in the 11 sec range and 0-60 in less than 4 seconds! Range varies, claimed range is 100 miles city/50 miles hwy or 75 miles combined mileage for full charge on two batteries. Results may vary as with any vehicle, but the onboard charger is easy to use and can be plugged into any standard 110 V 15 A outlet with the same cord used for computer monitors! Charges in a few hours although I just plug it in overnight on days when I commute with it. Very inexpensive commuter costs.
As with most electric vehicles, fast chargers can be purchased (even ones that fast charge on 110 V since the batteries are smaller relative to vehicles), taking total charge times down to around 1.5-2 hours per.

Bike rides super with Showa suspension front and rear, fully adjustable. Brand new set of Bridgestone Battlax tires just installed (over $450 of work) due to the factory original tires having small tire checking from age, but they had many years of tread life left.

Mods:
Has Zero LED headlight conversion kit with ballasts ($200).
Aftermarket seat ($350) for longer riding comfort, and also includes stepped factory "plush" seat.
Rapid prototyped under fender eliminator (to clean up back end appearance).
ABS was disabled as I'm not a fan, but could be returned if the new owner desired.

Recent Zero dealer inspection and service at Tom Wood in Indy to proactively replace small plastic terminal cover that had started cracking (under Zero warranty), and the brake fluid was flushed and refilled with new per service manual. There's literally no other service to these bikes, they're amazing! Just ride and enjoy!

If asking price is paid, I have a matching black full face helmet and bike cover that will go with it, as well as a few other Zero extras.

Sorry, due to liability, no test rides unless I have full asking price cash amount in hand.

Only selling as I have six motorcycles and we are building a house, needing money! May consider some partial trades for???
