This violin is 23” in length, size 4/4, in very good condition.
It has a number of tiny scuffs or scratches shown in the photos. These are hard to see from any distance.
The spruce and maple chosen for this instrument appear to be high quality. It has a gorgeous flame on the back, which is also a one-piece back. It was a $400 instrument when first sold, and was one of Cecilio's higher quality models at the time. After that, the company must have shifted their branding to give newer MV500s more of a beginner level quality. Although the newer ones are good, they aren't comparable to this one. It's probably 10 to 20 years old, which would also be a plus for it.
Comes with case, bow, new D'Addario rosin, an extra set of Cecilio strings, mute, Cecilio tuner, and shoulder rest.
Located in Bloomington near Ellettsville.
