After learning more about his background, we discovered he was previously a working dog, not a typical family pet. Since moving from a 3-acre property to an apartment, he hasn’t adjusted well despite our best efforts. He thrives with space, purpose, and structure—and truly needs land to guard and call his own.
He’s done fine with chickens when supervised, but will chase cats. He would do best in a home that understands working breeds and can provide mental stimulation and room to roam.
This decision is incredibly hard for us, but we want what’s best for Venom.
