Partially furnished room in comfortable Hyde Park neighborhood, Bloomington, 10 minutes from IU campus. Available to upperclassman or graduate student. Rent is $850 + 1/2 of monthly utility costs. Rent can be completely worked off by 7-8 hours of cleaning house and grocery shopping on a weekly basis, and this is preferred rather than cash payment. If the renter elects this option, the rent is reduced to 0.
Ideal for someone who needs to be out of the frat or dorm to focus on grades.
Specific Jobs:
1. Clean kitchen, laundry room, living room, dining areas: vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting each week. Limited ironing
2. Grocery shopping each week
3. House sit, feed cat during my absences
4. Preference given to longer stays of 2-4 years.
You must be highly motivated, honest, reliable and a full-time student. Absolutely no drugs. No smoking inside. Applicant must be able to take direction. Willingness to produce good work and respect property is what matters. Your friends are always welcome if they respect the property and you take responsibility for any damage.
Room consists of furnished bedroom and private bathroom. Use of kitchen and laundry facilities. Off-street parking. $300 deposit required after successful interview. References may be requested. One cat in the house.
