I have spent the time to tune this machine to a eliminate the snipe. This is the heavy-duty Contractor Series model, known for its rigid build, heavy base and parts-compatibility with Jet (Jet actually took over the service and warranty support for Pro-Tech).
The "Zero Snipe" Difference
Most people get snipe because their tools infeed and outfeed tables aren't co-planar with the cutter head.
• Precision Tuned: I have meticulously calibrated the infeed and outfeed tables to the tightest tolerance capable with this unit. The blades have also been confirmed sharp and installed straight.
Fully Serviced & "Work Ready"
This isn't a "garage find" covered in dust. It has been completely gone through:
• Internal Lubrication: All chains, gears, and height adjustment posts have been cleaned and lubed with dry-film lubricant (won't attract sawdust).
• Sharp Blades: Currently loaded with a good sharp edge.
• Motor & Belt: Motor brushes inspected; belt tensioned and tracking perfectly.
